Bobbine Berden is visueel narratief ontwerper en werkt met textiel. In 2022 lanceerde zij haar label ECHT NEP. In haar werk vertaalt zij alledaagse scènes en herinneringen naar textiele objecten. Ze werkt voornamelijk met restmaterialen zoals kleding, woontextiel, deadstock en vintage kralen/sieraden van oma’s. Haar werk ontstaat vaak in opdracht met aangeleverde stoffen, om dierbare herinneringen vast te leggen in textiel.
Bobbine Berden is a visual narrative designer who works with textiles. In 2022, she launched her label ECHT NEP. In her work, she translates everyday scenes and memories into textile objects. She mainly works with residual materials such as clothing, home textiles, deadstock, and vintage beads/jewelry from grandmothers. Her work is often commissioned using supplied fabrics to capture cherished memories in textiles.
